Requirements:
  • Completed higher education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Solid knowledge of Romanian and EU tax regulations;
  • SAP (Finance module) experience – mandatory;
  • Proficiency in accounting software and data entry;
  • English proficiency (B2–C1);
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Description

We are recruiting an Accountant for our client, a multinational company based in Lugoj.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage accounts payable and receivable activities;
  • Process bank statements in the receivables area using automated tools;
  • Post incoming invoices via electronic workflows or directly in SAP;
  • Ensure invoice compliance with Romanian and EU VAT regulations;
  • Record and assess financial transactions, including those of European subsidiaries;
  • Prepare and execute payment runs;
  • Handle payment reminders, accruals, and account reconciliations;
  • Collaborate closely with international teams (Purchasing, Controlling), especially with HQ in Austria;
  • Maintain accurate financial records (general and subsidiary ledgers);
  • Manage accounting documentation and master data;
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
