We are looking for a Country Sales Manager to support the company expansion.

As so, we are searching for a determined and active colleague to develop the sales of Repsol lubricants at national level, dealing with key customers and putting into practice his managerial skills, sales abilities and our distribution policy. Valtec Premium Lubricants is a regional leader in lubricants distribution, with over 25 years of experience serving 17 countries across Central and Eastern Europe. From our headquarters in Bucharest, we deliver nearly €20 million in annual revenue and over 6 million liters of premium lubricants to clients in automotive, industrial, fleet, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Over the years, we have represented major global lubricants brands across the region.

In 2026, following nearly two decades of successful partnership, Repsol, one of Europe's largest energy companies, became a direct strategic partner in Valtec through a joint venture that validates our consistent performance. CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Study levels and degree: Higher Educations, Technical studies preferably
  • Professional experience (no. of years per field of activity): minimum 10 (ten) years
  • Specific knowledge: lubricants preferably; other automotive segments like: spare parts distribution, filter distributions, tires distribution, etc.
  • Foreign language: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Computer operation knowledge/PC skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) advanced level
  • Driving license: YES Category: B
  • Personal skills and abilities: SALES & COMMUNICATION
  • Available for business travel: YES, more than 50% of the working time.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:
  • Follow the volume and margin plan established by the employer for the assigned area
  • The role includes making plans for business developments and managing the relation with the sales team and the customers: financially, business developments, new projects and marketing campaigns implementation, etc.
  • Plan and execute market visits with the sales team
  • Prospecting the market: looking for new partners that suits the Valtec customer’s profile, in the assigned markets
  • Discuss and analyze weekly reporting from the sales team: contacted companies, contact persons (phone and e-mail), type of company (HD Fleet, lubes distributor, spare part distributor, passenger car network, construction company, etc.), discussions you had with them/notes, chances of selling to them on scale from 1 to 5 (1 being no chance and 5 being 100% sell) and finally estimation of first sales where is the case; etc.
  • Gathering information from the market, be aware and inform the General Manager about the latest campaigns/strategic moves/price changes, etc. of competitors
