Ideal Candidate

Senior level experience in vendor contract negotiations. Legal background is a must;
Experience in a leadership role and in managing mid/senior client relationships; 5 years proven record in vendor contract negotiation and remediation, 1-2 years’ experience in coordinating and leading teams;
Preferred Experience: Hands-on experience with contract remediation (ie DORA, EBA and other regulatory requirements);
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills;
Strong communication skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal);
Experience working across complex, international environments and managing senior stakeholders;
Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as DORA and ICT Register of Information reporting is a plus.

Job Description

This manager role is responsible for coordinating the contract uplift and negotiation activities in support of regulatory expectations for the various remediation programs (ie DORA, EBA, Resolution Provisions (RP) and others). This position requires strong Contracts and Legal background, proven understanding of commercial and non-commercial contract clauses, negotiation skills and a collaborative mindset. Coordinate a team of contract negotiators to ensure the execution of Contract Remediation Programs in alignment with regulatory requirements (ie DORA, EBA, RP and others) and timelines; Highlight regulatory and other risks encountered in the contracts in team’s scope; Build and maintain diverse relationships inside and outside the organization. Collaborate with colleagues and influence activities to achieve positive outcomes in the interests of the wider business; Stakeholder management - manage relationships with partners, e.g. service owners, contract managers and control functions such as data protection, risk, legal etc. Deliver strong trusting relationships with stakeholders and all interaction parties; Support negotiation of contractual terms, ensuring alignment with internal policies and risk frameworks; Lead negotiation of contractual terms and conditions, inclusion of the company’s policies and procedures, identification and management of contractual risks, securing all appropriate interfaces (e.g. supplier, control functions, stakeholder, other procurement departments etc.); Contribute to template development and playbooks drafting; Contribute to a high-performance team culture, supporting development, engagement, and performance management.
