In Romania, we manage a growing portfolio of wind, solar and BESS projects, including wind farms already under construction. The projects we develop are intended for implementation and construction, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of renewable energy generation capacity with a tangible impact on Romania’s energy sector.
The person joining our team will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the successful execution of our PV and BESS projects, supporting the preparation and physical development of construction sites and working closely with EPC contractors, suppliers, authorities and other project stakeholders.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Construction Supervisor – PV & BESS to coordinate and monitor the execution of photovoltaic and battery energy storage projects in Romania, with a focus on project sites in Bucharest and surrounding areas, as well as Arad and Timiș.
You will be involved from the preparation of the documentation required to open the works through on-site execution, coordinating with authorities, EPC contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders, while monitoring quality, technical compliance, schedule and site progress.
This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring technical understanding, organization, problem solving and the ability to identify and address issues early in the execution process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Construction site coordination & execution
· Coordinate site activities from the preparation and review of the documentation required to start the work through the execution phase.
· Supervise EPC contractors, service providers and suppliers on site, ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with project requirements.
· Monitor construction progress against the approved execution schedule and identify delays or issues requiring corrective action.
· Participate in site meetings and provide clear and concise progress updates in internal project meetings.
· Support the practical preparation and organization of construction sites and ensure that site activities are properly coordinated.
Authorities, contractors & suppliers
· Maintain working relationships with relevant authorities and represent the Beneficiary in site-related matters, as required.
· Coordinate with service suppliers, including requesting quotations and supporting the procurement of site-related services.
· Work closely with EPC contractors and other project partners to ensure alignment with technical, contractual and project requirements.
· Coordinate with internal Engineering and other relevant functions to resolve technical and execution-related matters.
Quality, compliance & documentation
· Monitor compliance with applicable quality standards and project requirements.
· Verify that technical and construction documentation is consistent with the works being executed.
· Monitor compliance with applicable legislation, project methodology and health and safety requirements.
· Identify deviations and support the implementation of corrective actions.
Technical responsibilities
· Interpret technical drawings, electrical documentation, grid connection diagrams and documentation related to electrical construction and power supply systems.
· Apply practical technical knowledge in electrical installations and renewable energy construction.
· Support the verification of technical solutions and execution details on site.
· Contribute to identifying and resolving technical issues that may affect the progress, quality or safe execution of the works.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Engineering / Electrical Installations, preferably in construction, renewable energy or energy infrastructure.
· University degree in Energy or a related field, such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installations or Industrial Construction.
· Previous experience in site supervision and coordination of contractors, suppliers or EPC companies.
· Ability to read and interpret technical plans, electrical documentation and grid connection diagrams.
· Good understanding of construction methods, materials, technical requirements and site safety.
· Practical technical competence in electrical installations and a hands-on approach to site activities.
· Ability to work effectively in the field and travel regularly to project sites.
NICE TO HAVE
· Knowledge and practical experience in photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project development and execution.
· Proven experience working with EPC contractors and grid operators.
· Previous experience in renewable energy construction projects.
· Experience in working with public authorities and other project stakeholders.
· Knowledge of applicable health and safety requirements for construction sites.
· Experience with AutoCAD / Civil 3D is an advantage.

· Willingness to travel regularly and stay overnight at project sites, typically 1–2 nights per week as required.
