Ideal Candidate

Tiger of Sweden is a design-driven brand developing four collections annually, alongside a Stock Service Program (SSP) and a Made to Order (MTO) program. Production is primarily based in Europe (79%), with the remainder exclusively in ISO-certified garment factories in the Far East. Finished goods are consolidated in our Danish warehouse for global distribution.

About the role
Tiger of Sweden Romania is looking for an experienced Chief Accountant with strong hands-on knowledge of Romanian accounting, tax compliance and monthly reporting.
The role requires accuracy, strong technical accounting skills and the ability to manage multiple statutory and reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting activities
Ensure the accounting records related to suppliers, customers, fixed assets, prepaid expenses and payroll.
Record supplier invoices.
Record manually issued invoices for local, international and intercompany customers.
Monitor and account for prepaid expenses.
Record fixed asset acquisitions and monthly depreciation.
Review account balances and perform accounting adjustments when required.
Perform monthly foreign currency account revaluation.
Allocate payroll costs by cost centre and ensure the corresponding accounting entries.
Participate in the analysis of sample-related accounts.
Participate in account reconciliations.

Monthly declarations and reporting
Review and prepare purchase and sales journals.
Prepare monthly tax declarations: 100, 207, 300, 390, 394 and 406.
Prepare the monthly Environmental Fund declaration.
Prepare the monthly documentation required for VAT reimbursement.
Prepare monthly and quarterly statistical reports.
Coordinate the monthly meal voucher order.
Prepare various reports and supporting information requested by management, authorities and auditors.
