Main competences:
Bachelor's degree in Economics or other relevant higher education in the economic field.
Advanced English language skills (written and spoken) - mandatory
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in a large company
Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting processes and relevant Romanian accounting legislation.
Advanced accounting knowledge in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
Proficiency in using accounting software and PC applications.
Knowledge of ERP system operations and reporting.
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
Ability to process and communicate information to other decision-makers.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain focus and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure compliance of all accounting operations in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS), International Accounting Standards (IAS), and applicable tax and statutory requirements.
Manage the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, accounting documents, and supporting records within the ERP system.
Monitor and administer electronic invoicing (E-Invoice/SPV) processes, ensuring compliance, validation, and effective communication with suppliers.
Prepare, review, and submit statutory tax declarations and reports to relevant authorities in accordance with legal deadlines(Declarations 101,100,300,390,394).
Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities, including trial balances, reconciliations, exchange rate differences, fixed assets, depreciation, and account closures.
Prepare periodic financial reports, management reports, cash flow statements, financial indicators, and reporting packages under RAS and IAS requirements.
Maintain accounting records for fixed assets, inventory, treasury, intercompany transactions, leasing, loans, and other balance sheet accounts.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and asset valuation policies, while safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Support the preparation of annual financial statements and provide information required for internal and external audits.
Liaise with banks, government authorities, auditors, the National Institute of Statistics, and other external stakeholders as required.
Provide financial analyses, accounting expertise, and decision-support information to management and business functions.
Participate in inventory processes, verification of inventory results, and the resolution of discrepancies.
Ensure timely fulfillment of the company's financial, tax, and reporting obligations while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
