Requirements:
Strong experience and knowledge in the field of Ocean / Air Freight Forwarding
Excellent managerial and motivational skills, with at least 3+ years of successful track in managing and developing teams
Ability to adapt well to and get energized by change
Effective interpersonal, persuasive and conversational skills
Ability to successfully communicate proposals to potential partners.
Customer service and problem-solving approach
Strong analytical skills


Educational background:
University degree in Logistics/Management/Economy or equivalent.


Language & IT:
Mandatory: Fluent in Romanian and English
Good skills in MS Office tools

Business Development Manager – Ocean & Air Freight

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain effective business relationships with potential clients, subcontractors and carriers to meet the company’s objectives
Manage the overall export and import operations.
Develop, implement and continuously enhance air freight forwarding operational procedures (import and export).
Lead the negotiation process of price rates and contracts agreements with air carriers
Oversee all transportation documents and procedures are compliant with customs regulations and requirements for importing and exporting goods
Visits strategic potential clients and subcontractors
Maximize all revenue opportunities from customers and subcontractors
Interpret market trends, adapt and take advantage of industry changes
