The Penti story began in 1950 in Istanbul as two separate companies, united in 1970 under a single brand - Öğretmen Çorap. Development was followed by the launch of the production facility in Bayrampasa, Istanbul, and in 1984 the company changed its name from Öğretmen Çorap to Penti. Over the years, we have gained experience and continued to grow in manufacturing and retail activities, expanding our offer of footwear for women and girls, with socks for men, homewear and activewear, intimate and beachwear. Currently, we are the leading hosiery brand in Turkey with a market share of over 40%.

We are proud of our annual production of 80 million pairs – fully integrated production starting from yarns and ending at the retail store. Currently, we have stores in the most prestigious shopping malls and streets - 300 stores in Turkey, !06 stores in 29 countries and exports to 43 countries. The number of Penti stores is constantly growing and complemented by sales offices located in the United Kingdom, Romania, Ukraine and Spain.
