Role Overview:
Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations. Supports financial reporting, audits, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement of financial management processes. To support our operations in Romania, we are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Str. Nicolae Cânea, nr. 140-158, sector 2, Bucuresti, 23076 RO.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent English is required.
Job Description
Your responsabilities will include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable activities, including reconciliations and transaction postings.
- Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions in compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses.
- Investigating and resolving account discrepancies, audit findings, and compliance issues.
- Processing daily and monthly financial calculations and payments.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
