Henkel România, local branch of Henkel Central Eastern Europe, employs currently 530 people and has a wide portfolio comprising over 30 brands, thousands of products, from cosmetics, detergents, to commercial and professional adhesives and technologies.



From its establishment in Romania, in 1994, Henkel successfully launched an important number of brands from Henkel international portfolio, like : Persil, Pur, Rex, Perwoll, Silan, Perwoll, Clin, Bref – from detergents; Fa, Palette, Taft, Gliss, Schauma, Brillance, Syoss, Vademecum, Hattric, from cosmetics; Ceresit, Thomsit, Moment, Super Attak, Loctite and Teroson – from adhesives and technologies.



Henkel owns in Romania two production units for building adhesives, the first near Bucharest, in Pantelimon and the second one in Câmpia Turzii, in Cluj county.



Henkel România ranked 3rd in the „Best Employer” Survey in 2009. The company received so far 2 prizes at the Romanian PR Awards, the first in 2005- “Golden PR Award for excellence” for the campaign “Together for a clean Delta”- and, the second, in 2008 – “Silver PR Award for Excellence” for the campaign “Green Police of Children”, under the umbrella “Together for a clean Danube”.
