Ideal Candidate
The role's core mission is to maximize the medical network's net revenue and profitability by optimizing the pricing structure, the mix of medical specialties, the utilization rate of equipment and physicians, and strategic products and partnerships (subscriptions, products, insurance).
The role is analytical and commercial in nature, not clinical or medical-operational: it involves working with sales, pricing, and profitability data, in close coordination with clinic directors, the Marketing team, and executive management.
Job Description
- Weekly flash monitoring: runs and analyzes sales reports at the end of each week to assess target achievement (by clinic, medical specialty, and physician).
- Gap analysis: proactively identifies clinics, business lines (e.g., Imaging, Laboratory), or teams that are underperforming against target.
- Weekly Performance Review meetings: presents weekly sales performance to management and clinic directors and proposes quick corrective actions (e.g., last-minute-slot campaigns for unfilled appointments).
- Sales funnel analysis: monitors the conversion rate from initial inquiry (call center call, online lead) through to the actual clinic visit and payment.
- Defines and adjusts the price list for consultations, investigations (imaging, ultrasounds), lab tests, and surgical procedures.
- Implements Dynamic Pricing strategies (e.g., differentiated rates based on physician seniority, peak hours vs. off-peak slots, or location).
- Analyzes competitor pricing in the private medical market and positions newly launched services correctly.
- Captures the customer perspective based on input received from the Marketing department.
- Analyzes profitability by medical specialty (e.g., Cardiology vs. Dermatology) and by physician type (contracted collaborators vs. employees).
- Monitors and optimizes the occupancy rate of examination rooms and high-value medical equipment (MRI, CT).
- Identifies underperforming clinics or time slots and proposes service packages to attract patients.
- B2C (Retail): increases the average ticket size per patient (Average Ticket Size) through ethical cross-selling strategies (e.g., prevention packages, annual screenings).
- Private insurance: assesses the profitability of settlements with private insurers and recommends optimal allocation of coverage limits.
- Evaluates the ROI of promotional campaigns (e.g., "Vaccination Month," discounts on test packages, etc.).
- Ensures promotions do not cannibalize high-margin services and comply with medical ethics standards.
- Builds the promotional menu and plan together with the Marketing department.
- Retail Planning (Q4 for Q1)
- Prepares the commercial and pricing plan for the following quarter starting in Q4, ensuring continuity of revenue targets.
- The role operates at the intersection of commercial, financial, and clinical functions: pricing and promotion decisions must be validated both from a profitability standpoint and against medical ethics standards.
- Success depends on close coordination, without direct hierarchical authority, with clinic directors and the Marketing department in defining pricing and promotional plans.
- The work cadence is analytical, with a weekly rhythm of reporting and correcting deviations from target, requiring availability for rapid follow-up.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in a similar commercial analysis, pricing, or operations management role within private medical networks, healthcare services, or health insurance.
- Understanding of how medical services operate and of the dynamics between physicians (percentage/fee schedule) and the private clinic.
- Advanced financial modeling skills.
- Experience working with medical management systems (PIMS – Patient Management Systems).
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI / Tableau / ARA).
- RevPASH / RevPAH: revenue per available room hour (Revenue Per Available Slot/Hour).
- Average Patient Value (LTV): the average value generated by a patient over one year.
- Utilization Rate (%): the occupancy rate of critical physicians/equipment.
- Gross Margin per Medical Specialty: gross margin achieved by each business line (Laboratory, Imaging, Surgery, Hospital, etc.).
