Job Description

This position supports outsourced KYC due diligence activities for external clients, with a specific focus on reviewing and validating documentation for individual customers.

Work is conducted in accordance with client-defined policies, procedures, and risk frameworks. The KYC Document Verification Analyst is responsible for accurate and consistent document review, including the verification of Proof of Identity and Proof of Address for individual customers.

The role is delivery-oriented and non-managerial, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to defined KYC controls. It is well suited to individuals who are comfortable working with sensitive personal documentation, applying structured decision-making criteria, and managing high-volume document review while maintaining a high standard of quality and regulatory compliance.

  • 1–2 years of experience in KYC, CDD, due diligence roles focused on individual customers.

  • Basic understanding of KYC requirements and relevant compliance standards and practices.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and potential document issues.

  • Good analytical and research skills, with the ability to assess and process information accurately.

  • Strong written and spoken English skills; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet quality and turnaround-time requirements.

High attention to detail and the ability to work methodically within defined rulesets while recognizing when escalation is required.

Day-to-day work typically includes:

The analyst is responsible for reviewing and verifying documentation for individual customers in accordance with defined requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities typically includes:

  • Reviewing and verifying Proof of Identity and Proof of Address documentation.

  • Assessing documents for validity, completeness, consistency, and potential signs of alteration or fraud.

  • Using approved internal and external sources to support document verification, where required.

  • Meeting defined quality, productivity and turnaround times standards across multiple client programs.

  • Preparing clear and concise internal Suspicious Activity Reports narratives for identified fraudulent or suspected fraudulent documentation, in accordance with established procedures.

  • Identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or unusual issues during the document verification process and escalating them in accordance with internal procedures.

The role does not include reviewing the work of others, performing QA, or providing final approvals.
