Ovostar Romania is part of the Ovostar Union Group, an international company specialising in the production of shell eggs and egg products.

We are looking for a Site Manager to join our team for a poultry farm construction project.

We are seeking an experienced professional to organise daily site activities, coordinate contractors and ensure that work is completed within agreed deadlines. The role requires a permanent on-site presence and close cooperation with the project’s Technical Director.

Key Responsibilities:

· Organise and coordinate construction and installation works on site.

· Monitor contractor performance, work quality and compliance with project schedules.

· Ensure that completed works comply with design and technical documentation.

· Plan requirements and organise the procurement of tools, construction materials, consumables, personal protective equipment and general site supplies.

· Source suppliers, compare quotations and obtain procurement approvals within delegated authority and the approved budget.

· Oversee the timely delivery, receipt, record-keeping and use of purchased materials and tools.

· Work with designers, contractors and suppliers to resolve day-to-day site issues.

· Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and maintain good site housekeeping.

· Report to the Technical Director on work progress, schedule deviations and issues requiring decisions.

· Participate in the acceptance of completed works, monitor the rectification of defects and assist in preparing the facility for commissioning.

Candidate Requirements:

· Experience as a Site Manager, Construction Foreman or in a similar role.

· Experience in industrial construction; experience in agribusiness or the food industry would be an advantage.

· Ability to read design documentation and understand the sequence of construction and installation works.

· Experience coordinating contractors and work crews.

· Experience procuring tools and materials for site operations.

· Ability to plan work, resolve day-to-day issues promptly and ensure that agreed commitments are met.

· Strong organisational skills, a responsible approach and willingness to work on site in Romania.

· Mandatory: proficiency in Romanian and either English or Russian for workplace communication.

· Confident computer user (MS Office, email).
