Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full payroll process (A to Z) for the group's companies: timesheets and variable pay, salary calculation, bonuses, annual and sick leave, allowances, deductions, final settlements

  • Prepare, file and review payroll declarations (D112 and other relevant monthly/annual declarations)

  • Identify and correct errors in declarations; prepare amended declarations when needed

  • Reconcile payroll registers, declarations, accounting and payments (net salaries, contributions, income tax)

  • Check salary calculations and data consistency across periods and across group entities

  • Monitor legislative changes (Fiscal Code, Labour Code, tax incentives) and apply them in payroll

  • Issue employee certificates, payroll reports and statements for management, auditors or authorities

  • Act as the internal point of reference on payroll and income taxation

Requirements:

  • Solid senior-level payroll experience covering the full process end to end (minimum 5 years)

  • In-depth knowledge of Romanian labour and tax legislation applicable to payroll (Fiscal Code, Labour Code, social contributions)

  • Experience reviewing declarations (especially D112) and the ability to identify and correct errors

  • Ability to reconcile and cross-check salary calculations (gross-to-net, contributions, tax, accounting entries)

  • Clear understanding of mandate contracts: tax regime, contributions due, and what is deductible vs. non-deductible

  • Hands-on experience with payroll software and advanced Excel

  • Nice to have: payroll experience across multiple entities / a group of companies; degree in economics

What we offer:

  • Real ownership of the payroll process in a growing group

  • Competitive salary package, aligned with experience

  • Stable work environment with direct access to management

  • Professional development opportunities
