For our client, a globally recognized leader in sustainable mobility solutions and automotive technology, we are recruiting a Financial Analyst to join their local team in Bucharest. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Manager, managing local accounting operations and financial analysis, with a clear career path designed for long-term professional growth and step-by-step advancement towards management responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory);

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, chart of accounts, trial balance, general ledger, and basic local tax rules;

• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (both written and spoken);

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must-have);

• Hands-on experience with SAP is considered a plus;

• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing primary bookkeeping tasks: processing daily transactions, expense reports, bank reconciliations, and periodic adjustments;

• Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, processing invoices, tracking purchase orders, and managing local supplier relations;

• Assisting with monthly financial close, preparing financial reports, and conducting balance sheet reconciliations;

• Supporting variance analysis (actuals vs. forecasted results) and Cost Center GL updates alongside the Finance Manager;

• Interfacing with local internal team members and suppliers to support daily operational financial needs;

• Supporting monthly tax filings and regulatory reporting compliance.

Working Hours & Work Model

• Hybrid Work Arrangement: 3 days on-site in Bucharest / 2 days remote;

• Schedule Type: Full-time (Standard schedule 09:00 - 18:00 with flexibility).
