Adecco is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for its client, a solid multinational company and a leader in sustainable technology. Our client is currently growing, including through recent acquisitions. As part of this growth, their Bucharest Shared Service Center is expanding its Accounts Payable team. They are looking for people who want to understand processes in depth and build a long-term career.

What you’ll do

Accounts Payable operations

• Verify, code and process supplier invoices in the ERP system

• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching (PO, invoice, goods receipt)

• Resolve discrepancies together with suppliers, procurement and internal teams

• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers

Reconciliation & reporting

• Perform AP account reconciliations

• Support month-end and year-end closing

• Prepare AP reports and support audits

Process transition & improvement

• Take part in knowledge transfer sessions for newly transitioned processes

• Document procedures (SOPs) and process flows

• Spot gaps and suggest improvements

• Help ensure a smooth handover and stabilize the processes after transition

What you bring

• A degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance

• Recent graduate, or some experience up to mid-level. Experience in a Shared Service Center is a plus.

• Excel skills (must-have)

• SAP is a plus; Axapta is welcome but not mandatory

• English at B2 level or higher (must-have)

• Italian or French is a strong advantage

• Attention to detail, good organization and a problem-solving mindset

• Curiosity, good communication skills and a team-player attitude
