📢Oppo financial team is hiring: Senior Accountant

We’re looking for an experienced accounting professional with strong knowledge of Romanian accounting and tax legislation. We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who combines technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to accurate financial reporting.

Your key responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate recording of accounting transactions and verify supporting documentation.

• Coordinate monthly and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare trial balances and statutory financial statements.

• Ensure compliance with Romanian accounting standards and tax regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and fiscal declarations.

• Prepare financial reports and analyses to support management decisions.

• Liaise with internal and external auditors, banks, and other users of financial information.

• Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting procedures.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a Senior Accountant role.

• Strong knowledge of Romanian accounting and tax legislation.

• Experience working with internal and external auditors and banks.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software, particularly NextUp.

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

• High integrity, discretion when handling confidential information, and a results-oriented approach.
