We are looking for a Country Manager to lead DEFEND’s business in Romania and take responsibility for its performance and further growth.

You will lead the local team, own the country P&L and commercial results, and build strong relationships with our key partners. We are looking for an experienced commercial leader who knows how to grow a business, make clear decisions and get results through people.

• Own the performance of DEFEND Romania, including revenue, P&L, budget and forecast.

• Grow the business and our distribution network, identifying new commercial opportunities and turning them into results.

• Build strong relationships with key partners, including dealers, brokers and automotive groups.

• Lead and develop the Romanian team, setting clear expectations and managing performance.

• Set the commercial direction for the market and keep a close eye on customers, competitors and market developments.

• Ensure the local business runs well, including customer experience, operational quality, reporting and compliance.

• Have successfully led and developed a team and know how to get results through people.

• Have solid B2B or B2B2C sales experience and know how to build long-term partner relationships.

• Are comfortable working with commercial and financial data and using it to make decisions.

• Speak Romanian and English at an advanced level.

• Have experience in insurance, automotive, financial services or a similar environment
