This position will focus on the development and production of webcontent for a leading Internet network of golf publications. It requires a creative, dynamic, and forward-thinking individual who has a passion for the Internet. You must have proven leadership skills, tireless work ethic and an excellent command of the English language. You must desire to mprove the user's experience while keeping advertising profits in mind.
We are specifically looking for a developer with current or past publication or portal web development experience. You must have experience in a deadline-intensive environment and have the ability to produce web sites and jobs with rapid turnaround. This is a senior level position.
Candidate with experience at project management and managing others will be given priority. We are especially looking for a web developer who has great leadership skills, maturity and past history of job stability. This is a telecommute position and you must be comfortable working from home and managing and interacting with designers, programmers and developers who work from their homes all over the world.

The role of the Web Developer, in collaboration with the Content Department and Web Development team, is to organize and/or develop web content, produce web pages based on established templates, design user interfaces, page layouts and graphics, and to develop and enact marketing strategies based on search engine optimization skills.
We require 3-5 years of previous experience in the fields of web development, content development and graphic design is required.Candidates from all over the world are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of and experience in effective GUI design, as well as search engine marketing,
is also required. The ability to work independently and in teams is a must for the ideal candidate. The ideal candidate currently works for a recognized content oriented publication and is an unabashed self-starter.

Experience
Completion of a University degree in a related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Content Publication, Portal Development, Web Production and graphic design.
Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CGI programs, Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and an awareness of the latest Internet technologies.
