Training Coordinator - Ploiesti based

On behalf of our client, multinational provider of engineering, operations and maintenance services in the energy industry, we are looking for a professional to fill in the position of:

Training Coordinator

Location: Ploiesti
Duration: 4 months minimum

General responsibilities:
• Lead and promote best practice and safe methods of working at all times.
• Ensure that all staff are adequately trained to a level that provides technicians with a level competence that will enable them to perform as operations/maintenance technicians effectively and safely.
• Review the training content of packages from external and internal sources, ensuring the technical and level of training is suitable for the candidates.
• Develop and maintain training programme/matrix to ensure that all new methods of operations/maintenance are adopted.
• Provide training competency reports as and when required

Key Activities:
• Manage technicians training plans.
• Manage competency/training matrix.
• Interface with HR and Operations and Maintenance dpts.
• Review and update Training Packages.
• Co ordinate logistics for training delivery.
• Ensure staff appraisals are carried out and reviewed on a regular basis.
• Provide training competency reports as and when required

Requirements:
• Technical knowledge of Oil and Gas field operations and maintenance
• Must have dual language Romanian/English both spoken and written
• Ability to travel to remote oil and gas production sites
• Some international travel may be necessary – must hold current passport
• Work on his own institutive, self motivated and have very good interaction and communication skills.
