| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Candidates for this position should meet the following criteria:
• Master degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Material Sciences or related field;
• Over 5 years experience in HT processing, forging, casting and material manufacturing;
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English (technical English is an asset);
• PC and High level knowledge of Share Point Services;
• Over 3 years of damage analysis experience;
• Proactive, analytical and logical thinker;
• Time Management, Focus Results and Teamwork skills;
• Knowledge of Timken standards would be an asset.
| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
We are looking for a talented, dedicated and experienced Materials/Metallurgical Engineer who will act as a valuable support to Chief Material Engineer - Europe. Extensive experience is needed in providing technical expertise for problem solving, product and process development in the area of heat treat, forging, casting and material selection.
Key duties will include:
• Support in providing in-depth technical insight & metallurgical/materials expertise to our B.U., primarily in Europe;
• Carry out material/metallurgical investigations, studies, analysis and prepare English written technical reports;
• Work closely with suppliers and customers on a frequent basis;Interact with customers and application engineers to find the best solutions;
• Help in conducting periodic metallurgical and materials audits of business units and suppliers;
• Ensure material/metallurgy practices comply with ISO guidelines and company’s standards;
• Help in assuring material/metallurgical quality of our products;
