Database Developer

We are searching for dynamic and committed people with team-player capabilities and potential for learning and applying de-facto technologies in a highly demanding environment.
If you are a beginner and you have good database programming skills and show capability towards quickly learning new technologies you are also welcome to apply, as full training is provided in Vienna.

Experience and Skills:
• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science.
• Excellent SQL development skills in different RDBMS.
• Expertise in relational database design.
• Solid experience in data analysis, data modeling and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience with database consolidation and integration development projects, specifically focused on customer data desired.
• Solid interpersonal and relationship building skills that enable cross functional partnerships.
• Knowledge of IT industry trends and technologies.

Additional Skills:
• OOP concepts, Java core, basic web concepts.
• English – very good reading comprehension and fluency in speaking.
• German or any Eastern European Languages are a plus.

The job will involve working on challenging and interesting SAS projects (http://www.sas.com) with a dynamic and young team.
You will travel in Europe for trainings, project meetings and requirements gathering.

You will work as part of a multinational group with true large enterprise wide systems, complex architectures; real life constrains (speed, performance, nonstop systems availability).
