Subject Matter Expert (2 years)

The Esker – Subject Matter Expert is responsible for ensuring successful transition to Esker invoice processing solution, including testing and support during/post implementation.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Onboard operating locations onto the Esker accounts payable application using the implantation roadmap
* Perform testing for locations included in the rollout plan
* Lead training for end users in GFS and at the business unit
* Understand and apply capabilities of the accounts payable application
* Respond to user queries
* Bring up issues for resolution
* Find opportunities for improvement
* Maintain standard process maps for invoice entry  
* Perform integrations between the Esker IT solution and the internal Oracle/SAP/Syteline Emerson solution
* Participate in data migration projects, roles and access levels between different software solutions
* Collect requirements from clients, analyzes them, interprets them and passes them on to the development teams, being directly involved in the process of continuous improvement of IT solutions
* Identify the errors that occurred in the different stages of the life cycle of the final IT solutions
* Participate directly or as a member of the team that solves the identified problems

For This Role, You Will Need:

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Economics
* Proven track record in Finance – Accounts Payable environment is required. 
* Previous experience/knowledge of Esker

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 
* Solid grasp of financial systems and invoice processing solutions
* Proven technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
* AP Process knowledge
* Communicate effectively – speak collaborators’ language, appreciate nuances that constitute effective communication plan
* Proven organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills 
* Lean, Six Sigma – an advantage
