Commercial Director for Terwa Construction Products

ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENTS
• Technical university background, preferably civil engineering
• Proven sales experience with construction materials
• Proven deal maker
• Good communication and negotiating skills
• Fluent in English and Romanian
• Preferably with a network in the construction industry
• Understanding of construction
• Able to define a sales & marketing plan and execute it
• Traveling through the country and abroad
• Technical knowledge / concrete knowledge

The COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR is responsible for selling and marketing the connecting and lifting products for the concrete construction market in Romania and in a later stage in the surrounding countries. Reporting to the Dutch general manager of Terwa.

Main activities of the COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR will be;
• Selling directly to large project / accounts
• Defining sales & marketing plan after having identified trends / data in the market
• expanding and managing a sales organization
• Responsible for having the right presentation materials and market communication
• Developing export markets

The organization in Romania experienced a growing demand for their Steel Connecting and Lifting Products for Concrete Construction Solutions which help builders to work more efficient and safer. These kind of products have started to find acceptance. For this reason Terwa sees the need to establish a commercial organization who will market these products in Romania and surrounding countries. Products are being sold directly to large contractors who are casting concrete on-site and toward pre-cast concrete fabricators. Terwa products are often specified by architects and/or engineers, contact with these market parties should ensure demand in the market.
