Social Games Data Analyst

• Faculty or master degree in one of the following fields: Math/Stats, Economics, Engineering, Physics or Cybernetics
• At least one year of experience as data analyst
• Good/strong experience in social gaming (Freemium Economies, MMO Economies)
• Ability to communicate complex results in a clear form to executives as well to be able to
address detailed technical issues with the development teams
• Proven experience with SQL databases/scripting languages would be a big plus
• Self-starter, self-conscious and independent person
• Intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, hard-working and a good business intuition are a
must.

Overview:
We’re looking for an intellectually curious, business-savvy, analytical mind to join Gameloft’s Business Intelligence team in Bucharest. The person in this highly visible and responsible position will synthesize complex data from multiple sources to deliver business insight and strategic guidance to development, business and executive teams.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze large, complex data sets representing the behavior of millions of online social game players to address strategic and operational business problems
• Report results and suggest development directions to executives
• Distill and communicate key insights across all related products
• Design and develop frameworks, models, tools and processes to automate the gathering and analysis of data
• Take decisions in order to improve the products, increase profitability, refine viral tactics, develop awareness in the social gaming community
