Java/J2EE Architect

• University Degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline (Engineering preferred)
• At least five years of experience in IT
• At least two years of team leading for J2EE projects
• Proven commercial expertise of minimum 4 years in programming with Java on web applications development:
- J2EE: EJBs, Servlets, JSP, JSTL, JDBC, JNDI, JMS,
- XML/XSL processing,
- Struts,
- IBM WebSphere Application Server and/or Oracle 10g Application Server and/or IBM WebSphere Portal, and/orJBoss
- ANT,
- Portlets,
• Good command of development methodology ;
• Fluent in English.

Successful candidate will be a highly skilled IT professional with extensive, proven experience with J2EE technologies, capable to direct our J2EE team in the implementation of critical software systems.
Day-by-day activities will cover:
• Research and development of new solutions and technologies based on Java/J2EE;
• Guidance and mentoring for the whole team;
• Involvement in the process of defining solutions and proposals to customers;
• Technical coordination for all Java/J2EE projects;
• Team leading tasks, when required;
• Development of critical components, when required.
