Trade Manager

Required Experience:
 Bachelor’s Degree and five years of experience in the trading area, with significant exposure to international trade;
 Consistent supply chain management experience;
 Familiarity with purchasing, expediting, ERP systems, continuous improvement initiatives;
 Experience in trading crude oil and fuel, ability to provide market advice and a capacity to perform within a senior leadership role;
 Experience in a start-up company, in a multinational environment with managerial responsibilities is preferred.

Required Knowledge:
 Knowledge of the dynamics of international commerce including export/import processes, trade finance practices, national and foreign statutory and regulatory provisions, tariff and non-tariff trade barriers;
 Knowledge of the economic, market, political and other factors influencing trade objectives and positions;
 Knowledge of agency, government and other programs related to foreign trade;
 Knowledge of trade conditions/issues facing one or more of the national industry sectors or trading partners.

 Problem solving skills, with the ability to establish priorities as required;

 Entrepreneurial overview;
 Solid analytical skills, excellent communication skills (oral and written);
 Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
 Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.

Specific Requirements:
- Cultural versatility;
- Fluency in English, preferably also Serbian;
- Availability for relocation in Belgrade (Serbia).

Job Focus:
 Complex trade development, managing the Serbian trading, supply and logistics team, with full responsibility for the supply chain management for crude oil and fuels within Rompetrol Serbia;
 Strategies and plans to meet Rompetrol Serbia’s short-term and long-term trading /supply chain management requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
 To manage all aspects of purchasing, import-export of crude oil/fuel products, shipping and receiving, distribution and logistics;
 To implement a fully functional supply chain management infrastructure;
 To coordinate the senior specialists working on trade development programs or negotiating teams;
 To evaluate economic, market and other factors affecting trade within an industry or geographic area, making strategic decisions accordingly;
 To study and analyze domestic and foreign trade data with a view to developing guidance for Rompetrol business in Serbia;
 To coordinate functions related to government-involved trade events.
