Drug Safety Manager
Description:
The position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
As Safety Manager you will be responsible for assisting in the management and development of
European safety management services. In particular you will:
• Help develop consistent internal processes ensuring a quality service is delivered
• Have overall responsibility for the planning, co-ordination and delivery of a variety of research projects
• Provide accurate forecasts for all projects and ensure timely progress by monitoring study metrics
• Ensure the delivery of safety management services consistent with company SOPs, ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with PVG managers, Project Managers, Safety Specialists and senior staff globally in order to ensure optimal performance and utilisation of the PVG project team
• You will also have line management responsibility
Requirements:
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have a proven track record of managing a team and strong interpersonal skills to communicate with colleagues both internal and external of different levels and disciplines.
We are looking for proactive and motivated individuals who thrive in a demanding and stimulating environment. You must have a degree in a health related field or in life sciences and previous Pharmacovigilance/drug safety experience within a pharmaceutical, clinical or health care setting.
