Plant Purchasing Buyer Localization – Production (Timisoara)

What you have to know:

- University studies
- Good English knowledge
- Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing and localization activities
- Experienced driver

What you have to do:

- Perform localization activities in order to find local mechanical parts (plastic, metal) suppliers which fulfill Continental requirements
- Build and maintain a network of suppliers in the Eastern Europe area
- Monitoring and developing supplier’s performance
- Support projects with competitive costs and savings plan by introducing the local suppliers
- Support the introduction of the transfer and new projects by activities which include data maintenance, escalations
- Responsible for local sourcing activities: negotiate and identify the best potential suppliers (best costs, best quality) in order to introduce a second source
- Visit suppliers and attend to suppliers audits.
- KPI monitoring and reports
