Plant Purchaser in Timisoara

University degree in Economics/Technical.
Experience in mechanical or electronically acquisitions is an advantage.
Procurement process and negotiation knowledge.
English knowledge – advanced.
SAP knowledge is a plus.
Very good communication skills.
Disponibility for travels.

Job responsibilities:

Ensure procurement for Electronics and Stamping components areas in order to fulfill in time and according with technical specification the requirements of internal customers of the 3 locations Timisoara, Budapest and Sibiu.

Responsible for implementation and tracking of data quality in terms of series purchasing prices in the SAP system.

Escalation path towards suppliers in order to negotiate terms to guarantee certainty of supply with the best terms for materials. Follow-up and permanent contact with the preferred suppliers in order to ensure the acquisition in time, avoid internal and customer line stop situations;

Solving of price discrepancies, issuing and tracking due dates of purchase orders for samples and mechanical components tooling.

Support internal customers for all needed information regarding provision of materials, and purchasing processes;

Reporting on the controlling of defined information and figures to make results transparent and control purchasing activities on a results oriented basis;

Support of local purchasing topics for market analysis and localization efforts, make visits at potential suppliers.

Negotiation of quality related costs directly with the supplier in order to get the highest amount back.

Frequently used tools: Lotus Notes, MS Office, SAP, CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE Tools.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
