Plant Controller (availability to relocate in Sibiu)

General:

♦ Graduate degree in Business administration from a university or technical school and / or MBA with a major in controlling, finance or equivalent vocational business training;
♦ Several years of practical experience in Controlling, especially plant controlling, and finance;
♦ Efficient in SAP system with a good understanding of manufacturing processes;
♦ Have strong understanding of financial reporting;
♦ Good computer skills for cost analysis & reporting (Excel, Database);
♦ Fluent written and spoken English;
♦ Fluent written and spoken German would be preferred;
♦ Leadership skills to coach others;
♦ Experience in the automotive sector would be helpful;
♦ Foreign work experience would be advantageous.

Scope of work:
The Controller is responsible for the planning process and the budget compliance, manufacturing variance analysis and inventory control, monthly variance analysis and performance reporting including commentary. The controller has to perform the plant controlling, identify improvement projects with the plant manager and drive action to improve performance. This includes the implementation of cost savings programs and the monitoring of the key figures, e.g. productivity, efficiency and the analysis of the variances.

One of our benchmark is destined for providing complex high-tech electronic vehicle system to worldwide leading vehicle manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Daimler Chrysler, Volkswagen and Porsche. Marquardt invested 6 million Euro for thr transfer of a part of its production towards Romanian market in order to expand the capacity of the production unit for electromechanic and electronic systems. Our development unit is now also residing in Sibiu, with activities in Software and Hardware development as well as in Mechanical Engineering and Software Validation.
