Experience implementing monitoring and troubleshooting server problems under Windows 2003
Experience as a DBA with SQL Server 2000/2005
Experience as an administrator of Exchange 2003
Strong knowledge of LAN
WAN/VPN experience is desired (CISCO oriented)

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
In a strong relationship with the corporate IT department based in France (dotted line), the Windows 2003 System Administrator - Install, configure, and support two organizations local area networks (LAN factory & Lan sales office), monitor wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Maintain network hardware and software (include database and mail system). Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. May supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures. Must qualify for a security clearance.
1. Maintain and administer servers & computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations, following the corporate IT department standards.
2. Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
3. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
4. Load computer tapes and disks, and install software and printer paper or forms.
5. Monitor network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
6. Configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
7. Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements.
8. Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in coordination with corporate IT in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
9. Analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement.
10. Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.
11. Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
12. Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.
13. Maintain and administer Mail system and SQL databases
