Telephone and Communication Engineer

Cerinte:
• Dynamic, responsible, solution oriented, team-player with good communication skills;
• Profound understanding of networking, TCP/IP, routing and filtering, email, network topology, VPN, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP;
• Relevant experience in designing and administrating LAN/WAN and VPN CISCO-based, and also in PBX/IP-PBX phone systems administration;
• Preferably has a technical graduate degree or similar;
• Good knowledge of Linux based systems, Web technologies, Windows servers, Citrix, VoIP, BGP, DRP/BCP is certainly a plus;
• Good command of the English language is highly recommended.

• The TelCo engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and administration of GE Money RO internal networks and access points;
• Directly or in cooperation with support providers ensures internal monitoring and administration of PBXs;
• Cooperates with GE Corporate representatives in the maintenance and support of GE Money RO external or border-line equipment and services;
• Ensures that security requirements are met in all areas of his activity;
• Provides second line support for HelpDesk and UserSupport in his area of activity;
• Actively monitors network and service availability, makes suggestions and takes action in order to improve them;
• Enforces and complies with IT policies.
