| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Qualifications:
- University degree in Mechanical Agriculture or Agronomy;
- At least 3 years of job experience necessary on field mechanical equipment usage (tractors, planters, irrigation rollers, detasseling machines, sprayers, dump carts and corn pickers) and maintenance;
- Any experience in seed production, commercial agriculture, or food industry will be preferred.
- Must have good mechanical aptitude;
- This role will be expected to perform major hydraulic, electrical, engine, and structure repair to equipment used in seed production fields;
- Organization and housekeeping skills must be very high;
- Candidate will have an enhanced sense of urgency to get things accomplished and be a team player;
- Above average English skills must be above average, and good proficiency on PC usage.
- Flexibility for traveling, commuting and temporary relocation

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
- Perform assigned duties for repair and maintenance for field mechanic equipment like: tractors, planters, irrigation rollers, detasseling machines, sprayers and corn pickers and dump carts, as assigned by the Field Operations Lead Lead;
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment for field assigned during off season;
- Perform major repair to field equipment during season in the area where equipment is working in an on-call environment;
- Prioritize needed work and respond accordingly in conjunction with Field Operations Lead needs;
- Plan strategy for spare parts ordering, and inventory for equipment assigned in coordination with Field Operations lead;
- Maintain tool inventory assigned to this position and ensure tools in proper working condition according to ESH guidelines;
- Field Mechanic will have some responsibilities for the car fleet as assigned by the Romanian Seed Supply Lead.
Contract Type - Limited - 1 year.
