| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
· Minimum of eight years of experience in Information Technology
· Minimum of three years of managing project teams, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
· A Graduate degree in Information/MIS Technologies a must. An MBA in same discipline a plus
· Expert experience required with: security infrastructure (i.e. Pix firewall), Spam and Virus infrastructure, LAN/WAN/VLAN gateways/architecture design and implementation, ATM/IP traffic implementation, ADSL, PBX and VoIP/data routers.
· Considerable experience with but, not limited to: Cisco routers, Cisco NMS systems, Ehternet and IP network design and protocols and e-policy setting and control.
· Good knowledge of database/IP network backbone design and architecture, Broadband services (VoIP, ADSL, etc.), Narrowband and Wideband services (ISDN, HDSL, etc.) and data networks design and implementation.
· Good understanding of B2B corporate IT strategies (i.e. appropriate programming protocols, hardware infrastructure, security and backbone networking, etc.) with specific expertise in integration, database and applications implementation |
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Job Responsibilities
. Manages the day-to-day operations of the data centre and IT network including: Enterprise System, File Servers, Database Servers, email Server, Web Server, e-Commerce Servers, Internet Connectivity, LAN/WAN/VLAN Computer Environment, Telecommunications Hardware, and Client Workstations.
· Establish guidelines/policies to insure data integrity and security in the Starcomms IT environment through: Development of sound Backup/Recovery Plans, Business Resumption Plans, Security Policies, System Administration, Database Administration, Internet Security Tools, and Virus Protection Strategy.
· Directs the overall functions of the department, ensuring the optimal design, development and implementation of technological solutions for Starcomms. Implements strategic directions that guide all projects related to the implementation of custom-developed and/or procured systems, products or services.
· Participate in and oversees development of network topologies, physical layout, and communications configurations
· Review system growth rates and capacity requirements and recommends software, hardware, and information processing options
· Creating & tracking Key Quality Indicators and performance measures for maximum network uptime and reliability of performance.
