| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Technical University Degree in one of the following fields: Electronics, Electrotechnics
Good knowledge of analogue electronics
Good knowledge of CAD tools and processes
Good English language skills

The international automotive supplier Continental AG, Hanover, placed at the end of 2003 a further production site into operation in Romania. The new location in Sibiu was meant to produce and develop electronic components for the automotive industry. The location consists in a production facility (Plant) and a research & development center (Engineering Center).
The main focus of Engineering Center is to develop and test electronic control units for Automotive Industries like: ABS, ESP, Engine Control units, Airbag systems, Dumping Control Units, Transmission Systems etc. The competences within Engineering Center are: embedded software, PC software, electronics, mechanics and hydraulics.
As a Hardware Developer Engineer for Engineering Center your responsibilities will be to:
Evaluate the Schematics Design
Perform electronic validation activities on the prototypes
Interpret the test results and propose improved hardware solutions
Develop hardware & software tools to automate the test procedure and improve the quality of the products
Perform simulation activities for the components/modules inside our product
Perform layout for series production based on the inputs from circuit designers and mechanical engineers
