| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
- HTS or University in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent ;
- Awareness and understanding of engineering design and calculations;
- Background in Offshore technology would be an advantage ;
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player ;
- Ability to take responsability for actions and justify decisions;
- MS Office Skills .

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
- analyzing suitable configurations of the basic structural components of structures;
- calculating the pressures, stresses and strains that each component, such as a beam or lintel, is likely to experience from other parts of the structure or external pressures, such as wind and waves;
- considering the strength of different materials, eg concrete, steel, wood to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural design;
- liaising with other designers, e.g. pipeline and subsea installation engineers, to reach agreement about safe designs;
- examining structures that are at risk of collapse and advising on measures to be taken to improve their structural integrity;
- liaising closely with construction personnel regarding the installation of structures;
- applying expert knowledge of the forces that act on various structures;
- design of installation aids such as rigging, padeyes, structures etc as well as modifications to the Client vessels. |
