Financial Analyst

• University Degree in Economics or Finance or equivalent.
• 3-5 years postgraduate experience in FP&A; Audit or Data Mining experience is a plus.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to transform a regular analysis into insightful business reporting with appropriate visuals – e.g., bridges, trends, graphs – to communicate key performance messages.
• Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail:
• Experience with front end analysis and reporting tools is a must – MS Office (advanced Excel skills).
• Experience with PowerBI and financial planning systems – Hyperion Planning and/or HFM is a plus.
• Worked in an international and culturally diverse organization.
• Resilience, not thrown by ambiguity, uncertainty, and risk.
• Persuasive skills, using a style that matches the circumstances – logical persuasion, consensus building and visioning.
• Language skills: English – Minimum C1 English Language requirements.

• Facilitate and support the EMEA month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of fixed costs across entities and departments within the EMEA region, delivering insightful commentary for internal review meetings to drive strategic decision-making.
• Assess and challenge forecasts provided by functional FP&A teams, aiming for robust and actionable insights.
• Foster proactive communication with accounting departments to rectify identified errors promptly, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with IT systems analysts to address discrepancies in the Power BI Datalake view, maintaining data accuracy and reliability.
• Drive consistency and coherence across financial systems by providing support in data uploading and alignment, ensuring 1 version of truth across and financial systems.
• Assume ownership of the Revenue Categories EMEA regional SOX control process, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls.
• Consolidate and report on EMEA CAPEX, encompassing actuals, forecasts, and budgets, to facilitate informed decision-making at both regional and organizational levels.
• Take responsibility for maintaining, enhancing, and comprehensively understanding the dynamics of EMEA's Fixed Costs PowerBi dashboard.
• Actively participate in various meetings, leveraging personal expertise to contribute effectively to team objectives and manager's directives.
• Foster a collaborative environment by offering assistance and expertise to fellow team members in both routine and ad hoc tasks.
• Continuously develop proficiency in company reporting systems such as PowerBI, Hyperion Planning, Oracle, and HFM to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive optimization and standardization efforts by evaluating and refining existing activities.
• Proactively identify opportunities to leverage data in decision-making processes, aiming to enhance overall business performance.
