CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

Ultrasound / Sonographer Technologist


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist will be capable of applying
imaging to include proper machine settings, transducer selections and
additional imaging. In addition, be knowledgeable of techniques and
patient positioning to produce high quality ultrasound images. The
sonographer/ultrasound technologist I must be willing to participate
in continuing education programs to further upgrade his/her skills, as
well as meet the guidelines of the accreditation standards of the
department. The Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist is able to apply
multiple scanning techniques in a single ultrasound specialty (Ex:
Abdominal, OB, Echo, Vascular, Breast Neuro).

High School diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an
approved curriculum in diagnostic ultrasound. Minimum of two years
experience in Cardiac Ultrasound required.

Knowledge of an Ultrasound Sonographer and a comprehensive
understanding of all protocols and procedures. Requires comprehensive
understanding of procedures and protocols followed in conducting
ultrasound examinations. Knowledge and advanced skills in using all
equipment in department required.
