| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Mandatory skills:
• Advanced knowledge of ASP, HTML, DHTML & JavaScript, XML, XSLT, IIS, relational databases – SQL 2000/2005, and web design;
• Knowledge of hosting platforms and network operations;
• Knowledge of ASP.Net and C#;
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Strong English communications skills - both written and verbal;
• Experience and desire to work in a software support role.
Desirable skills:
• Experience with advanced database development – stored procedures, query optimisation, indexing techniques;
• Experience with data feeds;
• Use of UML and Object Oriented design methodologies;
• Commercial experience of the full software lifecycle; architecting and delivering high profile Internet applications;
• Experience with SOAP.
| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Responsibilities:
• Ensure day to day smooth running of allocated projects;
• Fix problems within defined satisfactory timescales;
• Proactively optimise and enable smooth running of all systems used by the projects such as web servers and database servers.
• Provide second level application/service support during office hours & on call overnight including diagnostics, solution provision and issue logging;
• Implement and test new software initiatives as well as upgrade and maintain existing systems. This encompasses all levels of architecture from user interfaces to databases;
• Ensure specifications and relevant documentation are created for each new project;
• Provide the client (and on occasion, the end user) technical, editorial and training support on all project components;
• Identify & manage risk areas of a project via effective escalation and resolution as early as possible;
• Coordinate and work with 3rd party applications and specifications;
• Work with other team members in order to review schematic designs and provide time estimates for development & testing.
