RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Our client is a well known international company specialized in research to photochromics and optical plastics. As a result, they6 have created the most advanced lens technology ever developed – their lenses are the fastest, darkest, clearest photochromic lenses available.
In order to strengthen its position on the Romanian and Bulgarian market, our customer is currently looking for a high professional in the position of Trade Manager responsible for Romania / Bulgaria.
The role will involve extensive travel through out the region and will be based in Bucharest, Romania.
Role:
To develop maximum sales volume through a planned sales coverage and service to the trade (Opticians, Labs, Retail chains, Ophthalmologists), Lens Casters and prospective accounts within her/his geographical territory (Romania/Bulgaria) so that the sales & profit objectives of the company are met.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
• To achieve or exceed the sales goals as defined in the area strategy for Romania/Bulgaria region.
• Develop at caster, chain & lab level, a network of strong relationships and extensive support:
o To develop retailers business – initiate first contacts, conduct seminars and implement programs to support the understanding of our products
o To organize and deliver seminars & trainings at the opticians & ophthalmologists level
o To ensure Company presence & continuity in the optical schools, specific programs & actions with students
o To organize and co-ordinate local trade shows as needed
o To initiate & monitor opticians panels when applicable
• Negotiate promotions and support programs with key accounts (lens casters, chains, labs), in coordination with his/her manager, ensuring delivery against sales budgets targets.
• To develop strong relationship with the sales forces of the lens casters: common visits, common seminars at the opticians & other initiatives. .
• To develop and support special Company events such as new product launch, launch of new communication programs together with the Company/Eastern Europe team
• To ensure relationship with the trade press through regular contacts & on going information flow in coordination with Paris HQ
• To provide timely and accurate feedback to Company Marketing and Research and Development teams
• To ensure use & update of the Company customers Database
• To generate new ideas to help grow sales for the company
To assist in creating and maintaining a favorable image of the company
