PRODUCTION MANAGER - RADAUTI area

Requirements:

The candidate should have proven experience of operating gas production facilities and should have good knowledge of the oil and gas industry in Romania.
Degree in engineering is a requirement/ petroleum is a plus
Possibility to travel to the UK from time to time to advise the Operations Director and the company’s partners and potentially may be involved in other activities in Central Europe
Knowledge of foreign languages: English

On behalf on our client, British company acting in the Oil & Gas field and with an intense active exploration programme in Romania we are looking for a Production Manager to join their team.

The company is currently developing three gas discoveries north of Radauti. This involves the construction of a Central Processing Facility (CPF) with a capacity of 250,000 m3/day of gas. The facilities can handle six wells including the three already drilled. It is also intended to add a further nearby field which will probably be drilled later this year.
The company is carrying out additional seismic at its three licences in the area and is planning to drill a number of wells in 2006. Further wells are planned in subsequent years. It is expected that this exploration will lead to further developments that would come into production in 2008.

Responsibilities:

The Production Manager will be responsible for finding and hiring the appropriate operations staff and will need to be located near the field either in Radauti or Suceava.
Other responsibilities included but are not limited

-Responsible for the safe and uninterrupted production of gas from the field and co-ordination with Transgaz operations.
-Involved in obtaining consents for exploration and appraisal activities in the area;
-Maintaining good relationships with the local community and the local councils;
-Develop plans for further fields in the area.
-Supervise an administrative clerk located at the Central Processing Facility ensuring that billings, labour and local costs data are processed and passed to Bucharest on schedule
