SW Project Leader for Embedded Automotive Systems (availability to relocate in Sibiu)

Requirements:
This position requires good abilities to drive and motivate others, strong results orientation, excellent coordination skills, analytical thinking, good problem solving abilities, outstanding communication and experience working in a multicultural team environment.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Automatics or Computer Science;
• At least 3 years of experience with “ANSI C” programming or Model Based Software Development (control, data and state flow logic);
• At least 1 year of coordinating projects (preferably in Automotive field);
• Good knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers (eg. NEC / Freescale / Melexis);
• Thorough understanding and experience with V-Model software development process is a must;
• Experience using Automotive Communication Protocols (eg. CAN, LIN);
• Able to understand electrical schematics and electronic equipment (like oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies);
• Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written);
• Proven ability to communicate, lead technically and coordinate other software engineers. Ability to lead on-site customer support for own projects;

Will be considered advantages:

• Good knowledge of Automotive Standards (eg. AUTOSAR);
• Experience in Diagnostics Protocols (eg. KWP, UDS) and tools (eg. CANdela);
• Knowledge of Embedded Operating Systems (eg. OSEK, Autosar OS);
• Experience in Electronic field or hardware development experience;
• Experience working in Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow (optional) and with production code generators (eg. Targetlink or Real-Time Workshop);
• Knowledge of German language is an important advantage;

Job description:
As SW Project Leader in our embedded software team you will coordinate the development of software projects for Control Panel Switches, Electronic Steering Column Locks, Driver Authorization & Keyless-Go Systems or Software Platform Systems.
This position requires responsibility in project planning, monitoring and controlling the software project activities, strong technical leading and coordination of software activities in order to analyze the customers’ requirements, to develop structured software concepts and designs, to implement and test software applications according to our software development process.
In addition you will have a direct technical contribution to develop embedded SW and ensure the high software quality, to improve our technical standards and to support & coach less experienced employees. Ensure cross-functional communication and cooperation in order to improve information flow with Project Leaders, System Engineers and other departments.
