Backend Developer at a hot startup in Budapest

We need help from a developer who possesses:

cutting-edge technical skills in writing and maintaining code preferably in Python (Ruby, Perl, PHP)
several years experience with relational databases (MySQL is a plus)
knowledge of the trade off between server side performance and features
demonstrated ability to come up with innovative solutions to scalability and performance problems
experience in deploying production code to cloud infrastructure providers is a plus

Tasks:

Create and maintain scalable back-end infrastructure for our high-traffic website.
Participate actively in our agile development process, regularly shipping and iterating code.
Deliver high quality solutions to production regularly.
Stay current on developing technologies and showcase them in your work.
General requirements
Bachelor degree preferably in computer science or software engineering - equivalent work experience is acceptable.
Must demonstrate either significant hobby or professional experience in software development.
Able to meet deadlines and work within an international environment, exchange knowledge with colleagues and be up to date with new trends.
Learn fast and pick-up new stuff easily.
Analyze and solve programming tasks independently and pro-actively.
Critical thinking attitude.
