The office was founded by architect Vlad Cristian Stefan in 2006. The architect has a working experience of more than 14 years with some internationally and local renowned architectural offices where he collaborated as architect on the development, management and realisation of several more or less complex building projects. And therefore acquired a profound know-how of the architectural and construction industry in its various aspects. The office can take on and execute to satisfaction different kinds of commissions, ranging from private house designs through to medium and large scale building design tasks. The team consist of architect Stefan Vlad, two full-time employees and many collaborators.

PHILOSOPHY 

The office commits to excellent design and qualitative buildings, that every time and  again offer a sensible response to the building task at hand within its specific context. 

In the design process the office doesn’t hold on onto a particular architectural style, but works towards a modern approach adapted to the local context. 

This method rests on two core principles: 

On one hand, the continuous adjustment of the design through critical reflection and discussion together with the other parties. 

On the other hand, the well-considered shaping of the different building elements with regards to their intrinsic structural, technical, sustainable and aesthetic qualities. 

Designing and building is teamwork. 

Attention to the exchange and the dialogue with all concerned building partners - such as the client, the administration, the consultants, the contractors - generates a positive synergy and helps the realization of a building project with a clear added value. 

Through collaboration with specialized consultants, a stimulating dynamic of know-how and knowledge during the design development is nurtured to result into an optimalized building.

The control of the project process is an indispensable key for a good execution of an architectural project. Not only the management of administration and planning, but also cost control and compliancy with regulations are continuously checked and balanced.
