We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
As a Workplace Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the design and further development of corporate real estate data analytic solutions. This role will act as a lead for business data analytic projects focused on all aspects of regional real estate data within the account. This includes detailed understanding of current pipelines, data warehousing, and creating intuitive visualization dashboards. This position aims to report on operations across all service lines: real estate/portfolio administration, facilities management, project management, finance, cost forecasting, diversity and inclusion, sustainability etc.
Data Analyst will report into the Workplace Effectiveness Lead. This role will regularly meet with management and operate in an individual capacity to interface with IT and Business. Though the core competency for this role is Data analytics, it also requires someone who is intrinsically curious about data and knows how to ask questions to get to the business needs.

Core Responsibilities:
Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis including requirements, activities, and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements in the processes, procedures, utilization of the workplace and facilities of the space
  • Partner and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to procure data sets and ensure consistent delivery of accurate data.

  • Works collaboratively and independently to bring in new data visualization ideas.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains various user-friendly dashboards in Power BI using various reproducible data sources, stored procedures, view, calculations, and parameters.
  • Translates and refines customer reporting requests into actionable objectives, including identifying criteria, fields, grouping, summary options, time frames and other components required to build a successful report.
  • Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, including MS software i.e., Power BI, Myspace, and hardware parking sensors, BMS, air quality sensors, presence sensors etc. and providing ongoing reports
  • Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining database

  • Identify, analyses, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with SME workstream leads to prioritizing business and information needs

Qualifications / Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
  • Space planning capabilities
  • Creative mindset and critical thinking skills
  • Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Power BI
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyses, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
Good written and speaking of the English language.
Strong team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
Extremely responsive, with high personal velocity and accountability.
Positive attitude and energetic approach to work.
