We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers with their inquiries.
Technical Support Engineer responsibilities include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support. You will use email and chat applications to give clients quick answers to IT issues. For more complex problems that require nuanced instruction, you will contact clients via phone and/or provide clear, written instructions and technical manuals.
To be qualified for this role, you should hold a degree in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering. Microsoft, Cisco, Linux or similar certification is a plus. If you’re naturally a helper, enjoy assisting people with computer issues and are able to explain technical details simply, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.

Ideal candidate:

  • Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately in English
  • Other foreign language, such as German or Spanish, is a plus
  • Flexibility to work on North America schedule
  • Previous experience in a similar position is a plus
  • In-depth understanding of software and hardware equipment
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issue
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal in a professional manner
  • Experience in working with IT solutions
  • Previous experience with Linux
  • Familiar with Virtualization Systems
  • MySQL knowledge is a plus
  • Keen to learn new things
  • Punctual and professional
  • Enthusiasm, team spirit
  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus

  • Providing technical support for international customers
  • Deliver technical support to customers via phone, e-mail, and remote connection tools
  • Gather information and determine the technical issue by evaluating and analyzing the data provided by customers
  • Identify and prioritize issues
  • Troubleshooting the technical situations on the customer’s server, using remote connection tools
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
  • Using the internal support ticketing system
  • Keeping the record of the support cases & reporting to the support lead on a daily basis
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Maintain jovial relationships with clients
