Technical Support Analyst

In this role you will be working as part of a small and diverse team to help support, test and
release our core software. You will be working with modern enterprise application development
tools including Microsoft .NET Core, Azure Serverless hosting, Azure Functions, Visual Studio, TFS,
JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams and SQL Server.
The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced support analyst with a technical skillset,
who is willing to play a key role in the support and release management team of our young
company.

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field. You are a team player who works well under pressure and who likes to challenge yourself working with highly experienced and talented individuals. You are communicative and able to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers. When you are coding you are passionate about ‘design it correctly, code it once’ and you are applying rigorous process and logic to solve difficult problems and provide effective and high performing solutions.
You have technical knowledge and skills in order to perform the job at a high level of accomplishment in the following key areas:

Required:
• Medium level of SQL Server
• Good understanding of REST API’s and web technologies (Internet browser, Postman)
• Good understanding of Azure Cloud Concepts and serverless infrastructure (SaaS)

Desirable, but not required:
• Experience with Microsoft .NET applications (using C#)
• Experience with ERP, ETRM or CTRM Systems
• Experience with DevOps processes (e.g., TFS platform)

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Design and run the Azure DevOps and release management process of our software ensuring that the process is as automated and stable as possible. This includes not only release management for our productive Software as a Service, but also release management for development, QA as well as individual customers under implementation. This task includes keeping scripts update, analyse deployment issues on MS SQL Server and troubleshoot environment- and release issues.
• Work with R&D to build and extend simple API’s used by the system UI. This work is mainly enhancing existing API’s by adding joins or adding features to them, unit testing and supplying to R&D for verification and code review
• Document system API’s for support team and for customers. When working with API’s, troubleshooting, collaborating with development and ensure that documentation for API’s for both external and internal purposes is correct and up to date.
• Working with quality assurance and product to actively test the platform features prior to release and ensure automated testing is always part of the delivery and release management process.
• Provide technical assistance for customers and internal or external consultants working with the implementation of the software. This includes helping them understand system error messages, trouble shooting and collaborating with R&D to get error messages improved, defects resolved etc. This includes using Microsoft technologies such as .NET Core, Azure Serverless Hosting, Azure functions and MS SQL server.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure high product satisfaction, log issues and serve as the interface between the customer and R&D
