Candidatul Ideal

What makes you a good fit:
  • Proven experience in pricing (3-5 years), electronics background is a plus;
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong business judgment, and P&L understanding;
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI);
  • Solid knowledge of stock management;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and adaptability;
  • Strong communication, project management, and collaboration abilities;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

What you’ll have to do:
  • Strategic Pricing Development: Formulating and implementing pricing models and strategies that align with overall business objectives, considering factors such as market dynamics, competitor pricing, inventory levels, and demand forecasting; on 4 different markets.
  • Price History Analysis and Predictive Modeling: Systematically analyze historical device acquisition prices and sales trends. Develop and maintain predictive models to accurately forecast future buyback and acquisition prices for all device categories. Use these insights to proactively inform and optimize pricing strategies, maximizing competitiveness, margin protection, and inventory turnover.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating closely with the responsible buyers for Apple / Android / Categories, and teams of Demand, Operations, Marketing, and Product, to gather insights, understand operational constraints, and ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated and executed.
  • Market Analysis: Conducting thorough and ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor pricing activities, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for price optimisation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leveraging data analytics tools and techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of current pricing strategies, identify areas for improvement, and make data-backed recommendations for price adjustments.
  • Pricing Execution and Implementation: Overseeing the accurate and timely implementation of pricing changes across all relevant systems and platforms, ensuring consistency and minimizing errors.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the impact of pricing decisions on volume, inbound targets, and gross profit. Regularly reporting on pricing performance and providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Price Elasticity Analysis: Conducting analysis to understand the sensitivity of demand to price changes, enabling informed decisions on pricing adjustments to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Promotional Pricing and Discount Strategy: Developing and managing promotional pricing campaigns and discount structures to drive sales, acquire new customers, and clear inventory effectively.
  • Inventory Management Interface: Working with other departments to align pricing strategies with inventory levels.
  • Continuous Improvement: Staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging pricing methodologies, proactively identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance Flip's pricing capabilities and performance.
