Requirements:

• University Degree in Economics or Finance or equivalent;
• At least 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst in structured multinational businesses;
• Experience with front end analysis and reporting tools - MS Office (advanced excel skills);
• Experience with Power BI (is a plus) & financial planning systems - HFM / Hyperion Planning (is a plus);
• Language skills: English at advanced/native level;

• Effective communication skills in writing, numbers, graphs and images; You are an excellent communicator with the ability to transform a user's reporting and/or analysis needs into insightful reporting and/or analysis, visuals, as appropriate: e.g. bridges, trends, graphs, to communicate key performance messages;
• Effective influencing skills, you can use a style that matches the circumstances, logical persuasion, consensus building, visioning and using power;
• Analytical skills: you are able to look at a problem from different perspectives, producing structured and useful information and making recommendations;
• Change agility: you enjoy experiencing and leading change, viewing problems as an opportunity for change and improvement.

As Sr. Financial Analyst - Operations, you will use your business acumen and industry knowledge to ensure the overall success of the business in the EMEA region. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to implement the vision and strategy for the business in the region. You will work directly with the Finance Business Partner Operations to own the plant efficiency and profitability, manufacturing productivity & efficiency, drive and track direct procurement savings as well as value analysis value engineering (VA/VE). The function sets product standard cost & ensures accurate cost accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Key activity of this Function is to have a continuous view of Plant efficiency and profitability, Intercompany Sales, Capex and Inventory projections, and to challenge this with Plant Controllers to obtain sufficient understanding of manufacturing productivity & efficiency improvements to provide key performance messages and detailed analysis as required to other relevant Functions e.g. Sales, Services and Products.
• Communicates key messages and insights obtained through manufacturing profitability analysis, capex and inventory projections to support the business decision making across the EMEA Region, through consolidated projections summarized into the Operations reporting pack.
• Submission in Hyperion Planning of Manufacturing cost and other Function costs not included in Manufacturing (including headcount and compensation), intercompany sales and inventory projections.
• Direct point of contact for US Operations FP&A requirements.
